Update on September 9, 2010:
The EU Council doesn't need to vote once more on the animal testing directive as the Parliament approved their first reading position. So the next and final step of the procedure will be the signature of the act by the Council and Parliament Presidents during the next plenary session on 22nd September. The text will be published in the Official Journal soon afterwards.
